Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Titus Corlatean, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Romania, on the margins of the 67th General Assembly

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Titus Corlatean, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania.
During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Romania and exchanged views on the Transnistrian conflict, welcoming the resumption of the “5+2” negotiation process.
The Secretary-General commended Romania for its support to the democratic transitions taking place in the Middle East and North Africa region and encouraged the country to continue its sharing of best practices and other contributions in this regard.
