The Secretary-General met today with the Foreign Minister of Austria, H.E. Mr. Michael Spindelegger.

During their meeting, they exchanged views on drug trafficking and organized crime, the protection of civilians, women, peace and security, rule of law, revitalization of the Conference on Disarmament, sustainable development and Austrian membership of the UN Human Rights Council.

They further exchanged views on a number of country-and region-specific situations of common concern including Syria and the Western Balkans.
