The Secretary-General met today, 22 September 2011, with H.E. Mr. Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine.

The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for Ukraine's contributions to UN peace operations. They also exchanged views on the issues of climate change and nuclear safety and discussed UN activities in Ukraine.
