The tenth meeting of the United Nations
Open-ended Informal Consultative Process on Oceans and the Law of the
Sea was held at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 17 to
19 June 2009. In its deliberations on the report of the
Secretary-General on oceans and the law of the sea, the Consultative
Process at its tenth meeting focused its discussions on the
implementation of the outcomes of the Consultative Process, including a
review of its achievements and shortcomings in its first nine meetings.
