Eltaf Najafizada is a journalist with Bloomberg News in Afghanistan, where he writes features and analysis on Afghan politics and US policy in the country. At the United Nations, he plans to focus on peacekeeping efforts in Afghanistan and other conflict-hit nations, human rights and efforts to end poverty worldwide. Mr. Najafizada holds a master's degree in economics and has received fellowships from the World Press Institute and the International Institute of Journalism.
