Travelling to the Pacific island “Niue”, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth, Ahmad Alhendawi, encouraged Pacific youth to take action supporting and implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and tackling Climate Change.
Joining 26 members of the Pacific Community, youth representatives and development partners at 9th Conference of the Pacific Community in Niue, Alhendawi’s visit emphasizes the needed investment in, and role for, Pacific youth in creating opportunity for youth-led actions to address Climate Change and achieve sustainable development.
