The Global Youth Forum on Youth, Peace and Security held its second and last day of sessions on Saturday 22 August in Amman, Jordan where young peacebuilders gathered at King”s Academy.
Highlights of Day 2 included inspiring stories from youth advocates working to combat hate and extremism for peace and security, the adoption of the historic Amman Youth Declaration that 11 thousand youth contributed to, and its acceptance by Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser S. Judeh and UN Secretary-General”s Envoy on Youth, Ahmad Alhendawi.
