What does Peace look like for you?
Submit your image and be awarded by the Photographische Gesellschaft (PHG) and Edition Lammerhuber in partnership with UNESCO, the Austrian Parliament, the Austrian Parliamentary Reporting Association and the International Press Institute (IPI) for the world’s best picture on the theme of Peace.
The winner of the Alfred Fried Photography Award will receive the sum of € 10,000. In addition, the top five listed photographers will be awarded the Alfred Fried Peace Medal of the PHG.
The award ceremony will be held at the Austrian Parliament in Vienna on 17 September 2015, just days ahead of the UN International Peace Day.
The winning picture will be on display for one year at the Austrian Parliament and will be included in the permanent art collection of the Austrian Parliament.
