Государственная помощь

There is no special mechanism established in the Czech Republic. The topic is covered by the law. Criminal Offence Victim Act No. 45/2013 Col. establishes a statutory assistance system for the victims of criminal offences including terrorist attacks. The system covers only registered providers of assistance. The assistance is provided upon the request of the state only, under strictly defined conditions. The assistance also relates to relatives of terrorist attacks or criminal offences. Currently, only the Czech language version of the Act is available: http://www.zakonyprolidi.cz/cs/2013-45

Правовые ресурсы

The victim has a right to file a criminal notice but not a personal indictment, because in the Czech Republic there is a monopoly of statutory indictment. The police and the prosecutors are under obligation to accept all criminal notices and to inform the person who reported the crime about further action within 30 days.

Victims have the right to attach their compensation claims to criminal proceedings. The criminal court can decide about compensation for damage from the side of the offender or to move the decision forward to the civil court

Сотрудничество с другими организациями

The Czech Republic is one of the countries that has not been affected by a terrorist attack yet. The organisation that would be potentially involved in working with victims of a terroristic attack is the Czech Red Cross
