Government Support: Côte d’Ivoire

Government Assistance to Victims

Such assistance is not specifically available but is based on traditional Ivorian mechanisms. The establishment, in the very near future, of a formal framework of counter-terrorism procedures should take into account this type of response as a key contribution to the combat in question.

Legal Resources available to Victims

No such resources are specifically available. However, the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure contain provisions enabling victims of acts considered as terrorism to have access to the legal system

Collaboration with other Organisations

The Ivory Coast has never been confronted with cases of the various types concerned here. No terrorist act has yet been committed in the national territory.
