The 2016 session of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People was opened by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon<\/a>. The Committee elected the members of its Bureau: Amb. Fod\u00e9 Seck (Senegal) as Chairman; Amb. Mahmoud Saikal (Afghanistan), Amb. Rodolfo Reyes Rodr\u00edguez (Cuba), Amb. Desra Percaya (Indonesia), Amb. Wilfried Emvula (Namibia), Amb.\u00a0Mar\u00eda\u00a0Rubiales de Chamorro (Nicaragua) as Vice-Chairs; and Amb. Christopher Grima (Malta) as Rapporteur. The Committee also adopted its programme of work for 2016<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>
