From Philippe Lazzarini, the UNRWA Commissioner-General as posted on his official X account (previously known as Twitter)\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n The Israeli Authorities have banned the entry of international journalists to Gaza\u00a0since the war began, 20 months ago.<\/p>\n This is unprecedented in any other conflict in modern history.<\/p>\n It is a ban on the truth.<\/p>\n It is a ban on reporting the facts.<\/p>\n It is the perfect recipe to fuel mis-information, deepening polarization and\u00a0dehumanization.<\/p>\n International journalists must independently report from Gaza and\u00a0support their Palestinian colleagues who continue to do a heroic job at a heavy price.
