\u00a0\u201cAt least six people were killed this afternoon when an UNRWA school was hit in al-Maghazi refugee camp, in Gaza\u2019s middle area<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201c<\/span>Dozens were injured (including UNRWA staff) and severe structural damage was caused to the school.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201c<\/span>The numbers are likely to be higher.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201c<\/span>This is outrageous<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0and it again shows a flagrant disregard for the lives of civilians.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

No place is safe in Gaza anymore, not even UNRWA facilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201c<\/span>The school was hit during Israeli\u00a0<\/span>forces\u00a0<\/span>airstrikes and\u00a0<\/span>bombardment on the Gaza Strip.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201c<\/span>At least 4,000 people have taken refuge in this UNRWA school turned shelter. They had and still have nowhere else to go.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201c<\/span>Since the war began on 7 October, UNRWA provides the coordinates of its facilities to relevant parties on a daily basis<\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
