The Committee heard a briefing by Amb. Riyad Mansour, Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine, on the situation on the ground and developments in the political process. The Committee elected the Ambassadors of Indonesia, Namibia and Nicaragua as additional members of its Bureau. Also, the Committee endorsed the accreditation of three civil society organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\nOCHA oPt<\/a>\u00a0released its latest\u00a0Protection of Civilians report<\/a>\u00a0covering the period from 24 to 30 September 2013 on\u00a04 October 2013\u00a0and a new monthly\u00a0Humanitarian Bulletin<\/a>\u00a0on\u00a027 September 2013.
