The Committee and the Division for Palestinian Rights of the UN Secretariat provide the information \u201cas is\u201d without warranty of any kind, and do not accept any responsibility or liability for the accuracy, or reliability of the information contained in the websites linked in the newsletter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>NGO Action News<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>26 February 2016<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>The United States of America<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 25 February, Students for Justice in Palestine organized a discussion on \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arabamerica.com\/events\/students-for-justice-in-palestine-at-st-josephs-college-the-state-of-childhood-in-palestine\/\">The State of Childhood in Palestine<\/a>\u201d at the St. Joseph\u2019s College in New York.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 25 February in New York, the Jewish Voice for Peace \u2013 New York City Chapter organized a screening of \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arabamerica.com\/events\/the-great-book-robbery\/\">The Great Book Robbery<\/a>\u201d in the margins of Israel-Palestine film festival.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 28 February, the Heartland Alliance and the Photography Department at Columbia College in Chicago will sponsor a screening of the documentary \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arabamerica.com\/events\/significant-surfaces-sunday-screening-series-5-broken-cameras\/\">Five Broken Cameras<\/a>\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 23 March, the Palestinian Centre in Washington D.C. is organizing a presentation of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejerusalemfund.org\/events\/event\/being-palestinian-personal-reflections-on-palestinian-identity-in-the-diaspora-with-sharif-s-elmusa\/\">book<\/a> \u201cBeing Palestinian: Personal Reflections on Palestinian Identity in the Diaspora\u201d by poet Sharif Elmusa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The 59E59 theatre in New York from 24 March through 17 April will host a performance of \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.59e59.org\/whatsnext.php\">Wrestling Jerusalem<\/a>\u201d about one man\u2019s journey to understand the Israel-Palestinian conflict.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 28 and 29 March, Columbia University will host a performance of a new play by Jen Marlowe \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.columbia.edu\/cu\/palestine\/programs\/\">There is a Field<\/a>\u201d about a Palestinian killed during the Second Intifada. The event is sponsored by the Centre for Palestine Studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>Europe<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 26 February, Gate 48 in Amsterdam hosted a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gate48.org\/\">public discussion<\/a>\u00a0with Professor Oren Yiftachel on \u201cPolitical Geography of Israel\/Palestine: Apartheid or Confederation?\u201d In parallel, on 28 February, Gate 48 is organizing a movie\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gate48.org\/\">screening<\/a> \u201cEven though my Land is Burning\u201d along with a discussion with film director Dror Dayan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 27 February, \u201cSumud Palestine\u201d is organizing an\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/celebrating-international-womens-day-women-gaza\/\">International Women\u2019s Day<\/a> with the women of Gaza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 1 March the Ireland Palestinian Solidarity Campaign in Dublin is hosting a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipsc.ie\/event\/dublin-what-is-happening-in-palestine-pbu\">seminar<\/a> \u201cPalestine Binds Us\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 5 March, in London, The Palestinian Mission to the UK and the Association of Palestinian Communities in the UK are organizing the \u201cPalestine spring\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/12967\/\">fair<\/a>\u201d\u00a0for the benefit of development projects in Palestine.
