Question<\/u>:\u00a0 Thank you, St\u00e9phane.\u00a0 I have two questions.\u00a0 First, in a Tweet by Mr.\u00a0[Nickolay] Mladenov, where he said he welcomes the agreement between United Arab Emirates and Israel and he said it stopped the annexation \u2014 that what he wrote, \u201cstopped\u201d \u2014 first, it\u2019s an in\u2026 completely inaccurate to describe the agreement that it would stop the annexation.\u00a0 And, second, neither Israel said that nor the United Arab Emirates.\u00a0 The United Arab Emirates retreated from mentioning the annexation to say that we are a sovereign country, and we can decide what we want to decide.\u00a0 So, he\u2026 it\u2019s\u2026 I mean, he trying to portray the agreement as something focusing on stopping the annexation\u2026<\/p>\n

Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 I mean, I\u2026<\/p>\n

Question<\/u>:\u00a0 \u2026 is inaccurate.<\/p>\n

Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 All I can tell you is we stand by the Secretary\u2011General\u2019s own statement and Mr.\u00a0Mladenov\u2019s Tweet.<\/p>\n

Question<\/u>:\u00a0 But we have been trying, St\u00e9phane, to\u2026 I sent you messages.\u00a0 Ibtisam ask you the same, and you continue to portray the agreement as if it\u2019s intentionally directed to stop the annexation, which is inaccurate.<\/p>\n

Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 I\u2026 we\u2026<\/p>\n

Question<\/u>:\u00a0 Yeah.<\/p>\n

Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 I don\u2019t think\u2026<\/p>\n

Question<\/u>:\u00a0 Can you explain that?<\/p>\n

Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 \u2026 the statement said it was intentionally directed to that.\u00a0 This is what we have taken away from it, and I will leave it at that.<\/p>\n

Question<\/u>:\u00a0 Well, don\u2019t you have the courage to revisit the statement and say, \u2018Oh, we mentioned that, but, however, it has been rec\u2026 corrected by both parties, not by one\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n

Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 It\u2019s not an issue of courage.\u00a0 If we need to restate our position, we will.<\/p>\n

What is your second question?<\/p>\n

Question<\/u>:\u00a0 My second question, on Saturday evening, near the city of Tulkarm, near the checkpoint of Jabara, J\u2011a\u2011b\u2011a\u2011r\u2011a, a young Palestinian \u2014 his name is [inaudible] \u2014 was run by a settler and killed at the checkpoint. \u00a0And no mention of that crime against a civilian, who was, just happened to be at the checkpoint. \u00a0And the settler who killed him, and no mention of that. \u00a0I tried to find any reference to this crime similar to that girl who was killed in her house, and no mentioning.<\/p>\n

Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 I\u2026<\/p>\n

Question<\/u>:\u00a0 If the incident happened the other way around, it will be different situation altogether.<\/p>\n
