Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 Listen, I think our position has been made very clear through the Secretary\u2011General.\u00a0 At least, as of now, I have not seen any action that has been taken.\u00a0 So, obviously, we will react to whatever happens.\u00a0 But, at this point, I think we’ve made clear our position against any unilateral moves.<\/p>\n

Question<\/u>:\u00a0 Did\u2026 does Mr.\u00a0[Nickolay] Mladenov, by any chance, have any comment today on the annexation of the Jordan Valley that didn’t happen?<\/p>\n
Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 No.\u00a0 I mean, we try not to comment on things that\u2026 I mean, we\u2026 let me not get into trouble here.\u00a0 I think, as I said to Nabil, our position on the annexation is very clear.\u00a0 The Secretary\u2011General said it in very clear and simple and stark language.\u00a0 That has not changed.\u00a0 As far as I know, as of now, nothing has really happened on the ground.\u00a0 So, there’s nothing for us to comment on.\u00a0 What I can tell you is that Mr.\u00a0Mladenov, in the past days, has been in daily contact with his Israeli counterparts, his Palestinian counterparts, regional interlocutors, including the Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Jordan, in order to restore some sort of real dialogue between the parties.\u00a0 He’s also been dealing with the impact of the current situation on the civilian population.<\/p>\n
