Question<\/u>:\u00a0 Okay.\u00a0 There is a letter signed by 50\u00a0independent experts opposing the annexation of Palestinian land by Israel on 1\u00a0July, and they’re calling that a violation of international law.\u00a0 Are you aware of this letter signed by the independent experts and [inaudible] see in this important development?<\/p>\n

Spokesperson<\/u>:\u00a0 Thank you for your question.\u00a0 We have seen reports of the letter, and I think, as we’ve been saying, we are still, of course, unfalteringly committed to achieving a negotiated two\u2011State solution.\u00a0 The Secretary\u2011General has said on many occasions that he’s warned of the danger of unilateral action.\u00a0 That’s what we’d have to say on the letter.<\/p>\n
