The meeting will discuss the OIC\u2019s position in the light of the developments in the cause of Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif following the US Administration\u2019s announcement of its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/document\/peace-to-prosperity-a-vision-to-improve-the-lives-of-the-palestinian-and-israeli-people-us-government-peace-plan\/\">peace plan<\/a> on January 28.<\/p>\n<p>The OIC reaffirms its principled position and support for the Palestinian people in their struggle to regain their legitimate rights, including the establishment of their independent and sovereign State with East Jerusalem as its capital.<\/p>\n<p>The OIC had confirmed in a previous press communiqu\u00e9 that the solution to the Palestinian issue must be in accordance with international law, relevant United Nations resolutions and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/document\/auto-insert-181223\/\">Arab Peace Initiative<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a non-United Nations document.
