PARTITION SUBCOMMITTEE BEGINS DRAFTING THREE SECTIONS OF PALESTINE REPORT<\/p><\/div>\n

In a closed meeting under the Chairmanship of Mr. Ksawery Pruszynski (Poland), the Sub-Committee this morning went over Chapter 3 of Section C of the Partition Plan of the UNSCOP Report. This Chapter deals with Citizenship, International Conventions and Financial Obligations.<\/p><\/div>\n

She task of preparing a final text for approval by the Sub-Committee was entrusted to the Representatives from Guatemala for the paragraphs on International Conventions and Financial Obligations, to the Representative from Uruguay for the paragraph on Citizenship, and to the Representative from Czechoslovakia for the paragraph on the Holy Places (Chapter I), which was left over from yesterday afternoon's meeting.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Sub-Committee will reconvene this afternoon at 3:30 p.m.<\/p><\/div>\n
