THREE WORKING GROUPS CONSIDER ARAB PROPOSALS AND LEGAL ASPECTS OF PALESTINIAN QUESTION<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Sub-Committee II of the Ad Hoc Committee on Palestine met this morning privately in its three working groups, under the Chairmanship of Mr. A. Gonzalez-Fernandez (Colombia).<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The groups took up, respectively, matters dealing with Jewish displaced persons, questions of legality in regard to the Palestine question and the proposals of Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Syria for a unitary Arab State in Palestine.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

When the groups have worked out their recommendations and specific proposals they will be submitted to the full Sub-Committee, which, upon approval, will incorporate them into its report.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Sub-Committee will meet again this afternoon in private working groups.<\/p><\/div>\n
