GENEVA, 4 April (UN Information Service) — The Commission on Human Rights began review this morning of its agenda item on economic, social and cultural rights, hearing from Special Rapporteurs on the rights to health, education, food, and the illicit movement and dumping of toxic wastes, and from Independent Experts on foreign debt and structural-adjustment policies and on a potential draft optional protocol to the International Covenant of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.<\/p><\/div>\n
