Rapporteur (Halinen) &#8211; Press release"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:center;font-size:11pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><strong>SPECIAL RAPPORTEUR ON SITUATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS IN PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES OCCUPIED BY ISRAEL TO VISIT MIDDLE EAST IN JANUARY<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:11pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">Mr. Hannu Halinen, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel since 1967, will visit the occupied Palestinian territories, Israel, Jordan and Egypt from 12 to 23 January 1998.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:11pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">The trip will be carried out in the context of the Special Rapporteur&#39;s mandate under the Commission on Human Rights <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/unispal.un.org\/pdfs\/EF7E1F52C06A9CB885256AD2004B1194.pdf\" style=\"color:#0000ff;text-align:left;font-size:11pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">resolution 1993\/2 A<\/a><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:11pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">.
