The following communication, relating to an application by the Egyptian Consul General for the installation of a wireless transmitter and received in his Consulate General in Jerusalem, has been received from Mr. Fletcher-Cooke of the United Kingdom Delegation.<\/p><\/div>\n

May I refer to paragraph 3 of <\/span>my letter of the 22nd March<\/a> relating to Public Information Services and Facilities in Palestine.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

2. I now enclose for the information of the Commission a copy of a letter which has been sent to the Consul General of Egypt in Jerusalem relating to his application for the installation of a wireless transmitter and receiver in the Consulate General.<\/p><\/div>\n

I am directed to refer to your letter No. 406 of 5th April to the District Commissioner of the Jerusalem District requesting, permission to establish a wireless transmitter aid receiver in your Consulate General. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

2. I am to inform you that if you will apply to the Postmaster General, who is the competent authority, a licence will be issued subject to acceptance of the following conditions:-<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\t(a) that the type, wavelength and power of the transmitter shall be agreed with the Postmaster General.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t(b) that the installation shall not be used before 15th May except by prior agreement with this Government and after 15th May except with the agreement of the successor authority.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
