Consideration of the Commission’s <\/u><\/span>General Report<\/u><\/a> (continued)<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The General Committee took up consideration, paragraph by paragraph, of Chapter A dealing with the Commission's conciliation effort.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Paragraphs 1 to 10 were adopted<\/i> subject to a number of minor changes and the deletion of the first sentence of paragraph 10 which was redundant.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

A discussion ensued on paragraphs 11, 12 and 13 which, in the opinion of the members, did not bring out with sufficient clarity the manner in which the situation had developed.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The CHAIRMAN, Mr. ERALP (Turkey) and Mr. de NICOLAY (France) proposed certain changes so as to set forth the facts in a more logical order.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Secretariat was requested to draw up the new text merging paragraphs 11, 12 and 13 and setting them forth as indicated during the exchanges of views.<\/p><\/div>\n
