COMMUNICATION TO MR. FLETCHER-COOKE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM DELEGATION REGAINING THE FOOD SITUATION (<\/span>Informal Paper UK\/63<\/a>)<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

A draft letter prepared by the Secretariat, addressed to Mr. Fletcher-Cooke asking the latter to put before the United Kingdom Government certain specific proposals made by the Commission concerning certain food commodities set out in the letter, was approved with minor drafting changes.<\/p><\/div>\n

COMMUNICATION FROM THE JEWISH AGENCY CONCERNING A REQUEST FOR A HEARING ON THE SUBJECT OF A PROVISIONAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENT FOR THE JEWISH STATE (<\/span>Informal Paper JA\/27<\/a>)<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

The CHAIRMAN drew attention to the above communication and stated that the date for hearing the representative of the Jewish Agency concerning the subject of a Provisional Council of Government for the Jewish State would be set at the next meeting.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

CONSIDERATION OF QUESTIONS DIRECTED BY THE BIG FOUR TO THE COMMISSION<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The CHAIRMAN informed the Commission that the Big Four had, that morning, sent to the Commission a questionnaire comprising ten questions with the request that replies thereto be furnished as quickly as possible.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

He drew attention to the draft answers which had been prepared by the Secretariat.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

After consideration of the draft answers the latter were adopted, with minor amendments.<\/p><\/div>\n
