<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t• <\/span>We are on the brink of a civil war in Gaza which threatens to spread to the West Bank. WFP is seriously concerned by the deteriorating security environment. The CD visited staff in Gaza who are under immense stress and increasing pressure under these conditions. UN Stress counselor visited Gaza sub-office, and had individual sessions with some staff on 10 &11 Jan. 07.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t• <\/span>There was a terror attack in Eilat on the 29<\/span>th <\/span>January.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t• <\/span>After four months of strike, the civil servants in the West Bank have resumed work following an agreement between the Workers Union and the Government. Implementation is returning to schedule after months of delays linked to the strikes and limited access to Gaza.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t• <\/span>Meetings were held with cooperating partners including Ministries to consult them on the formulation of the upcoming PRRO (09\/07 – 08\/09).<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
