The Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is deeply concerned over the Israeli authorities’ decision to build 430 new homes in the occupied West Bank. This decision further complicates the efforts to kick-start the negotiations. It also appears to be in contradiction with the Israeli Government’s repeated intention to achieve a peace based on the two-state solution. Italy appeals to the Israeli Government to review its decision and its settlement policy.<\/p><\/div>\n
