Middle East peace process<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

The Council debated recent events concerning the Middle East peace process. Following the discussion, the EU High Representative reaffirmed the EU's commitment to the two-state solution. The European Union fully supports the current efforts of the United States in support of the resumption of direct and substantial negotiations and welcomes the personal involvement and engagement of Secretary Kerry.<\/p><\/div>\n
