Minister for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini expressed her condolences on the death of Simone Camilli in Gaza. “The death of Simone Camilli is a tragedy for his family and for our nation”, she said.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

“Yet again, a journalist has had to pay the price of a war that has lasted too many years, and for the second time in a few short months we mourn the death of a young person courageously engaged in the task of reporting the news”, Mogherini pointed out.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

“And as if another reminder were needed, the killing of Simone once again underscores how urgent it is that a final and definitive solution to the Middle East conflict be found”, she added.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

“I wish to extend my own personal and the entire Italian government’s sincerest condolences to Simone’s family and friends on their very painful loss”. She concluded.<\/p><\/div>\n
