PRIME MINISTER JOSEPH MUSCAT VISITS PHARMACARE IN PALESTINE<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

The Prime Minister Joseph Muscat together with Maltese delegation visited the Pharmacare complex in Betunya, Palestine.<\/p>\n

Pharmacare is currently a production centre of antibiotics, general and veterinary drugs.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister and his delegation participated in talks with a group of Palestinian businessmen.<\/p>\n

The Maltese delegation included Foreign Affairs Minister George Vella, Tourism Minister Karmenu Vella and Member of Parliament Charles Buhagiar. <\/p>\n

The Palestinian Minister of the National Economy Jawad Naji Hirzallah also participated in the talks.<\/p>\n

During the talks the two sides agreed on the setting up of a joint business committee with the objective to strengthen the commercial ties between Malta and Palestine.<\/p>\n

The Maltese business delegation was led by Malta Enterprise.  A cooperation agreement was signed between the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and industry and the Palestinian Federation of Industry.\n<\/p><\/div>\n
