WFP has implemented emergency and protracted relief and recovery operations to assist the destitute, protect livelihoods, and support productive activities. WFP has been present in occupied Palestinian territory since 1991.<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&#8226; Pipeline breaks for all commodity groups are anticipated in mid-2009. In case no additional resources are confirmed, WFP will be forced to reduce the number of beneficiaries and activities.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&#8226; The prices of wheat flour and fuel have increased by 98 percent and 91 percent, respectively, in the past year.
