Statement by the Press Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, on the formation of the new Palestinian cabinet<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

1.\t<\/span>The Government of Japan welcomes the formation of the new Palestinian cabinet headed by Dr. Rami Hamdallah, the new Prime Minister. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

2.\t<\/span>The Government of Japan supports the two-state solution, and has backed up strongly the Palestinians’ efforts for building a future independent and viable state. The Government of Japan hopes that the new cabinet will show the further leadership. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

3.\t<\/span>The Government of Japan expresses its respect for the contributions to the Palestinian state-building by the former Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad, and will continue to closely cooperate with the new cabinet led by the Prime Minister Dr. Rami Hamdallah.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
