OIC Secretary-General, Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu condemns<\/strong><\/p>\n

 the Israeli crimes in occupied Palestine<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

\n

The Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, condemned the current Israeli occupation army’s land and air military excursion called “Operation Autumn Clouds<\/i>” against the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Secretary-General requested the international community to intervene immediately in order to put an end to the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, considered as a grave violation of Geneva Conventions relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War; to provide the necessary assistance to the Palestinian people and to lift the unjust embargo imposed on them.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Secretary-General affirmed that the Middle East would never enjoy security and stability as long as the Arab-Israeli conflict persists and the Palestinian question remains without a just solution that restores to the Palestinian people their full rights.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Secretary-General also requested the international community to put its pressure to bear on Israel in order to release the more than ten thousand Palestinian detainees held in Israeli prisons. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Secretary-General called upon the Islamic world to take a unified position in support of the Palestinian people’s steadfastness until they obtain their independence and establish their independent State with al-Quds al-Sharif as its capital.<\/p>\n
