The Third Committee (Social, Humanitarian and Cultural) today concluded its sixtieth session by approving nine drafts on a wide range of issues, including the elimination of racism and racial discrimination; human rights questions, including alternative approaches for improving the effective enjoyment of human rights and fundamental freedoms; human rights situations and reports of special rapporteurs and representatives; and revitalization of the General Assembly’s work. <\/p><\/div>\n
