\n\t\t\t\tEuropean Parliament Delegation "regrets" arrest <\/strong><\/i>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\tPalestinian presidential candidate, Mustafa BARGHOUTHI was arrested today by Israeli security forces while campaigning in East Jerusalem. Reacting to the arrest, Pasqualina NAPOLETANO (Italian Socialist MEP), vice of the EP delegation for Observation of the Palestinian elections, said\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\t"We regret the arrest of Mr Barghouthi and will be raising the matter with the Israeli authorities. This only serves to underline the difficulties faced by the residents of East Jerusalem in taking part in this election<\/i>."\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\tL'un des candidats à l'élection présidentielle palestinienne, M. Moustafa Barghouti, a été arrêté aujourd'hui par les forces de sécurité israéliennes alors qu'il faisait campagne à Jérusalem-Est. Réagissant à cette arrestation, Mme Pasqualina Napoletano (PSE, IT), vice-présidente de la délégation ad hoc envoyée par le Parlement européen pour observer cette élection (voir notre Direct Info de ce jour), a déclaré:\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
