Its objective was to assist the Palestinian people in building and strengthening their media capability. <\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"padding-top:5.5px;font-size:11pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;color:#000000;padding-bottom:5.5px;text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">In addition to experiencing the historic activities which took place at United Nations Headquarters during the period of the fiftieth Anniversary commemoration, the group of interns attended briefings by officials of the United Nations and United Nations specialized agencies as well as by representatives of media organizations in the United States.
