<\/i><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">The United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Alvaro de Soto, today attended a meeting of key donors in London to discuss the humanitarian, social and economic situation in the occupied Palestinian territory, as well as Palestinian reform. <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">Representatives of the Palestinian Authority and the Government of Israel also took part in the annual meeting of the so-called Ad Hoc Liaison Committee. <\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">Mr. de Soto, a veteran UN negotiator, was appointed to his present job in May after serving as Mr. Annan&#8217;s Special Representative for Western Sahara.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UN envoy attends international donors&#8217;
