With representatives of a number of Jewish organizations he discussed current developments in the region.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-top:8px;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">The talks he held with Middle East Quartet Special Envoy Tony Blair focused mainly on the prospects for peace in the region. Both agreed on the need to take advantage of the momentum that had now been generated. Steinmeier commended Blair&#39;s active efforts to take the peace process forward.
