The Government of Indonesia expresses its strongest condemnation for the assassination of the Hamas leader, Abdul Aziz al-Rantissi and his guards by Israel <\/strong>  <\/p><\/div>\n

1.\t<\/span>The Government of Indonesia expresses its strongest condemnation for the assassination of the Hamas leader, Abdula Aziz al-Rantissi and his guards by Israel on Saturday, 17 April 2004. The Government of Indonesia is of the view that the assassination violates international law and humanity. The assassination proves the Israeli position that ignores international law and the world opinion. <\/p><\/div>\n

2.\t<\/span>By that assassination and the same action done before, Israel has clearly destroyed the peace efforts built in the Middle East. Indonesia strongly demands Israel to immediately stop the violent action towards the Palestinian people.  <\/p><\/div>\n
