Jerusalem, 25 March 2015<\/strong> – The Government of Sweden and UNDP’s Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People signed a USD 3.8 million (SEK 33,000,000) agreement to fund shelter assistance packages for non-refugees as part of their on-going support to early recovery efforts in the Gaza Strip. Through the new contribution, 2,529 non-refugee families will receive rental subsidies to support their accommodation need. <\/p><\/div>\n

The additional resources will bring the total Swedish contribution to the UNDP cash assistance programme to atleast USD 6.9 million.<\/p><\/div>\n
