THE SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE CONDEMNS THE ISRAELI OCCUPATION AUTHORITIES’ INVASION OF THE PRECINCTS OF THE HOLY AL-AQSA MOSQUE<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Dr. Abdelouahed Belkeziz, the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), expressed his condemnation of the Israeli occupation authorities’ invasion of the Precincts of the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and their assaults on worshippers during their performance of Friday prayers, causing scores of casualties and detaining scores of others among the worshippers.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Secretary-General considered that this attack on holy places falls squarely within the policy of escalating aggression that Israel persists in adopting.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The Secretary-General called on the international community, particularly the Quartet Committee, to immediately intervene in order to put an end to the aggression being perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people and to secure the nece ry international protection for the Palestinian people, their leadership, and holy<\/p><\/div>\n
