Turning to the issue of illegal occupations, he called upon Iran to respond to his country’s peaceful initiatives to end the occupation of three United Arab Emirates islands through bilateral negotiations, or by referral to the International Court of Justice.  Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza was a welcome step, and it was to be hoped that the international community would urge Israel to complete its withdrawal from the Arab and Palestinian territories occupied since 1967.<\/p><\/div>\n
