Objectives<\/strong> <\/p><\/div>\n

The specific objectives of this Chair are to: <\/p><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\t·\t<\/span><\/span>promote teaching, research and outreach activities in astronomy, astrophysics and space sciences throughout the Palestine; <\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t·\t<\/span><\/span>develop curricula and degree-awarding post-graduate programme in astronomy, astrophysics and space sciences, and provide training in these fields;<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t·\t<\/span><\/span>carry out research and outreach activities in the field of astronomy, astrophysics and space sciences, and disseminate research results widely; and,<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t·\t<\/span><\/span>promote networking and knowledge-sharing in the fields of astronomy, astrophysics and space sciences at the local, regional and global levels, and contribute to relevant international initiatives.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
