ADDRESSING THE HEALTH SITUATION<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

IN THE OCCUPIED PALESTINIAN TERRITORY<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Following <\/span>World Health Assembly Resolution 59.3<\/a> and in an effort to address the health needs of the population of the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt), WHO is organizing a meeting in Geneva on 12 June 2006.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The main goal of the meeting is to review the current health situation and identify appropriate courses of action to avert a humanitarian health crisis and ensure the provision of health services in the oPt.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Technical staff from the Ministry of Health, UNRWA, OCHA, concerned UN agencies as well as donors and stakeholders representatives will participate.<\/p><\/div>\n
