CONDEMNATION OF THE TERRORIST ATTACKS IN SOUTHERN ISRAEL <\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Madrid, 18 August 2011<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The Spanish Government expresses its wholehearted condemnation of the series of terrorist attacks perpetrated this morning close to the city of Eilat, which up to now have resulted in the deaths of seven people and have left around thirty wounded, some of whom are in a serious condition.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

The Spanish Government once again reiterates its absolute condemnation of terrorism and calls for containment to prevent an escalation of violence that further hampers prospects for peace in the region. In this regard, it deplores the action that has led to the deaths of people in Gaza.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

At these difficult times, the Spanish government wishes to express its total support for and solidarity with the victims and their families, as well as with the government and people of Israel.<\/p><\/div>\n
