Q: Lately, the Syrian Government announced the redeployment of its troops in Lebanon according to the Taif Agreement and the withdrawal of the majority of its troops from Lebanon. What's China's comment?<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

A: The Chinese side took note of the Syrian announcement lately to redeploy its troops and pull out most of its troops from Lebanon. We welcome Syria's positive gesture and hope that Syria and Lebanon could reach an agreement on relevant arrangements as soon as possible, so as to solve the issue of Syrian troops in Lebanon.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n
