Press Statement on the Situation in Southern Lebanon<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

           \t<\/span>Members of the Security Council expressed their concern at the recent events in Southern Lebanon. They called for the easing of tension and for respecting the blue line, and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon. \t<\/span>They hope the parties concerned will exercise restraint to avoid further deterioration of the situation. <\/p><\/div>\n

           \t<\/span>They expressed their support for the work of UNIFIL and the efforts of the Secretary-General and his Special Representative.<\/p><\/div>\n
