Annex I<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\tAdministrative and programme budget implications of the resolution adopted by the Council at its first special session<\/strong>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n

1.\t<\/span>Under paragraph 6 of resolution S-1\/1, the Council decided to dispatch an urgent fact-finding mission headed by the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967 to the occupied Palestinian territories.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

2.\t<\/span>The activity envisaged under paragraph 6 of the resolution consists of a mission of the Special Rapporteur to the occupied Palestinian territories, accompanied by four staff members of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and two Security Officers to support the mission.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

3.\t<\/span>The estimated costs for the year 2006 under section 23, Human rights, would amount to US$ 27,300.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

4.\t<\/span>No provisions have been made under the programme budget for the 2006-2007 biennium for the above activity.
