Switzerland condemns the execution of three Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip on 17 July 2012<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

18.07.2012 — These executions bring the number of prisoners executed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the year to six. Switzerland calls for a moratorium on capital punishment to be put in place, along with the immediate suspension of any further executions throughout the entire area of occupied Palestinian territory  <\/p><\/div>\n

Switzerland reaffirms its firm opposition to the imposition of the death penalty in any and all circumstances. The death penalty constitutes a violation of the most fundamental of human rights.
